Currency Compare is a free, offline-capable currency converter. This page explains what data the app handles and how it is used.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app does not require an account, does not track your location, and does not use analytics or advertising SDKs.
To display up-to-date exchange rates the app makes periodic requests to a public exchange-rate API (open.er-api.com). These requests contain no personal data — only a standard HTTPS request for the latest USD-based rates.
The rates returned by the API are cached locally on your device (using standard app storage) so the app works without an internet connection. This cached data is never shared with anyone.
All of this data lives exclusively on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
The only external service the app contacts is the Open Exchange Rates API. Please review their privacy policy for details on how they handle API requests.
The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the revision.
